The canyoning tour lasts approximately 3.5 hours and includes 4 rappels, 2 canopy lines, 3 water jumps, a walk along the Arenal River, lunch at La Roca Bistró, and round-trip transport from downtown La Fortuna.

The La Fortuna Waterfall is part of a 210-acre biological reserve. The 70-meter waterfall is reached by a 530-step hiking trail through native vegetation, ending at a viewing area and access point for swimming.

Guides accompany you along the hanging bridges, helping you spot wildlife and understand the tropical rainforest's natural history. You will have specialised viewing equipment and see animals and plants that are easy to miss on your own.

The route goes through private pastures with muddy trails, streams, rocky sections, and views of the Arenal Volcano. The tour also includes a stop at the Arenal River, where you can swim for about 15 minutes if conditions allow.
